When your parent comes to live with you, your other parent may want to come as well. They don’t want to be left out of their spouse’s life. You must set boundaries for both of the parents coming into your home. Ask your loved one to come over to stay for a while (like for the holidays, etc.) and just keep letting them stay. You may set both parents up in the same room or you may need to set them up in different rooms if they are not able to co-habitate that closely.
