As a caregiver you need to take some time off for yourself. Take a vacation without your loved one – your family needs you. You may need to hire someone to come in and sit with your loved one. If you know someone else who is a caregiver, offer to swap times with them. You may be able to get help through your church or other organizations to have someone sit with your loved one while you go out.
