There is more to caregiving than grooming, safety and health needs alone.  Caregivers have a responsibility to their charges to stimulate the minds of those in their care.
We fill our kid’s lives with toys, sports and extra-curricular activities/classes and parties.  As we get older, we tend to live a more quiet life, and lose touch with our friends & co-workers, and even our Adult children are by then so busy living their own lives with THEIR children and work, they don’t have much time anymore.  Our bodies and lives are winding down and we seem to be on the Outside-looking-in.
Many different gadgets are available to help the homebound/special needs people live as independently as possible. From special handles/knobs for the cabinets and drawers in the Kitchen, to Bathroom grab bars, bath and shower benches.  These all can improve the quality of life, and isn’t that what really matters?
