It is hard to change from being cared for by your loved one to being the caregiver for your loved one.  Don’t forget to respect them and allow them do things for themselves as long they can – even if it takes a while.  Begin to look at your loved one not as a child, but look at yourself as a servant to your loved one.  Always give them respect, dignity, and privacy.
