<p>It is hard to change from being cared for by your loved one to being the caregiver for your loved one.  <span id="more-437"></span>Don&#8217;t forget to respect them and allow them do things for themselves as long they can &#8211; even if it takes a while.  Begin to look at your loved one not as a child, but look at yourself as a servant to your loved one.  Always give them respect, dignity, and privacy.</p>
